Overlooking an eighty year old vineyard and Eden Valley, this energy efficient home is based on many sustainable features influencing the design and orientation of the rooms throughout.

Solar passive design, reverse brick veneer and highly insulative strawbale walls to the west were used to gain maximum thermal performance. Double glazed windows throughout and rainwater harvesting to a concrete tank located beneath the building create a home that works in favor for the owner

The client’s brief to incorporate cooking and entertainment is catered for on the large deck overlooking the Barossa and the commercial style kitchen featuring the freestanding cooker and custom cabinetry.

High quality finishes are used throughout, creating a stunning, inviting home reflective of it’s rural setting.
