SolarQuotes is a company that provides solar power quotes and free independent advice. It is a well-established company that has helped over 470,000 clients across Australia.
This office is located in the Adelaide CBD. The clients’ brief was: “I want to rip out all of the partitions and make it nice”
The area of the office is approximately 80 square metres in area, with a split level dividing the space into two distinctive areas. From the brief, it was decided to locate the staff amenities and meeting area on the upper level and the working spaces and seminar area on the lower and entry level.
The palette of materials selected were those with low-embodied energy and recyclable. One interesting cabinetry material selected was “Paper Rock” made from recycled paper. Other elements included low energy appliances and lighting. A climbing wall of green plants was also incorporated to add air quality to the space. This new fit-out has a quiet, clean and comfortable ambience.
